Site update 2.0
As you may have noticed, the web site has changed. The recent template was good looking, but behind the scenes, it lack the sophistication that I was desiring. I almost gave up and bought a template, then I found the Agregado template. Its closer to what I am trying to achieve; a easy to read site that keeps everyone up to date on my activities. The life stream section on the home page links a lot of my activities including Twitter, Yelp, last.fm, Facebook and more when I get them to work. So now you will know where I eat, what I listen to, and what I am thinking at any time.
What I really like is the easy categorization that lists all my posts across the top of the page. Of course in the upper right corner you can view other pages, search and subscribe to the feeds. More importantly is the ability for readers to contribute to the pages. You can do this two ways. First, just leave a comment at the end of any posts. If you don’t want me to add a silly picture to your comment, sign up at Gravatar and assign your own digital representation to your comments. The second way is to fill out the response section on the bottom of the home page. This will send me a direct e-mail but won’t post anything on the web site. If you are shy, this would be the better way to go.
I still have some tweaks to make. I have to fix my adds ( I have made about a $1 since the start), and update the recipe pages, to make them easier to find and read, fix some icons, but all that will come with time. In addition, I am moving my restaurant reviews to Yelp. This way, my readers can compare my ratings to many others that have experienced the restaurant, and hopefully make a more informed decision about their dining choice. I will mention the restaurant here, and provide a link to my review.
I hope you enjoy the new style and please let know what you think.
