Middle Aged and Living Well

It’s time for our annual baseball roadtrip, affectionately called Seamhead 2009. A group of us, anchored by my brother has made a nearly annual trek to a few ballparks in an attempt to visit all 30 major league parks. Two years ago, my brother and I achieved our goal, but with the opening of the park in Washington DC last year, our quest started again.
This year my trip includes games in Pittsburgh, DC, Philadelphia, and the 2 new parks in New York. I am going solo in Pittsburgh for two reasons. First, I love PNC park and second, I am doing some genealogy research nearby. My fifth great grandfather was married nearby in 1774 and I am looking for some evidence.
So I will Twitter, post pictures and blog to document the games, the artery clogging ballpark food and the little Americana spots in between the ballparks. This shouldn’t be hard as I posted this blog from 36,000 feet over Colorado using my new iPhone and wireless access from Virgin America.
