Blog Updates
I have been playing around with my blog and adding a couple new links that people can explore. First I have added an ancestry database to my site. Just click on the My Ancestry link to the right and you can view a lot of my family’s ancestry. Its the same data as the Ancestry.com site, but it gives users a little more variety on how to view the data. You will need a login, so request a login, and I will get you setup.
Next, I have been improving my Recipe site. First I added my first new recipe, tomatillo salsa, but I also added links from my main blog to recent recipes. So as I add more recipes, you will be able to see them and quickly link to them so you can make them for dinner tonight. I highly recommend making the Tomatillo Salsa. Its so bright and green and makes wonderful guacamole, and its at its best on fried eggs.
I picked up a new cookbook last week, Bobby Flay’s Mesa Grill Cookbook. In an earlier post, I commented about how disorganized my other Flay cookbook is, but this one seems a little more organized and allows you to understand how to properly combine his love for sweets (mainly from fruits) and his love for spice from chiles. Being a Saturday, I hope to get a chance to try a recipe or two, and I will report back shortly
